Does your organisation need help responding to or answering questions regarding a cyber incident to satisfy internal or external demands?
At GRCI Law, we understand how stressful a cyber security incident can be and the challenges your organisation can face during this difficult time.
Our Cyber Incident Response Investigation service can provide your organisation or other interested parties, such as insurance providers, with necessary assurance that the incident is being dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our investigation service will help your organisation answer key questions such as how the threat actor gained access and the steps needed to contain, eradicate and recover from the attack.
If you have suffered a cyber security attack that affects your whole organisation, we recommend that an emergency CIR triage is conducted before purchasing this service as the scope and goals of the investigation should be identified, understood and agreed to ensure that we provide an appropriate proposal.
For immediate advice, call our team on our dedicated Cyber Incident Response (CIR) phone number +44 (0)1353 494 464 to discuss how this service can help you.

John is a data protection professional who has been working in data privacy for more than 12 years. As Operations Director for GRCI Law, he oversees service delivery and manages the GRCI Law consultant team. He set up our specialist data breach and DSAR (data subject access request) services, and developed our Cyber Incident Response Service. He is also the DPO for a number of GRCI Law’s key clients. Before joining GRCI Law, John was Head of Information Rights and Head of Information Law and Security with the UK Metropolitan Police Service. Both roles involved regular contact with the UK’s data protection regulator, the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office). He has worked on several high-profile cases regarding information access rights.
Led by our team of experienced DPOs, lawyers, barristers, and information and cyber security experts, we provide DPO, breach, data privacy management and DSAR support, as well as associated non-reserved legal services. We offer legal, risk and compliance consultancy advice that you can trust, but without the burden of administrative duties and expenses that law firms must bear in order to carry out certain ‘reserved legal activities’ such as litigation, conveyancing and advocacy.
